FAQs

Where can I learn more about Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)?

Dr. Sue Johnson, one of the founders of EFT, provides a wealth of information, videos, and tools for understanding EFT and how it can help relationships on her website.

I also recommend the book "Hold Me Tight: Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love" by Dr. Sue Johnson. This is one of the most popular and accessible books on EFT, offering practical tools and insights for couples to deepen their emotional bond.

How much does couples therapy cost?

My fee for a weekly couples therapy session is $250 for a 50-minute session.

Do you have a sliding scale?

Yes. My sliding scale starts at $200 per session.

Where do you see clients?

I currently work with all clients virtually through a secure online platform.

How often are sessions?

Sessions are scheduled weekly, and I strongly encourage maintaining a consistent weekly cadence for the best results. However, exceptions can be made, and we can discuss what works best for your situation.

Please note that I have a 48-hour cancellation policy.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance, but I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Many clients find that with ongoing therapy, they are able to meet their out-of-network deductible.
